NEET Paper Leak: Dhanbad/Patna: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested Bundi Singh alias Bundi Sharma from Jharia in connection with the NEET-UG 2024 paper leak case. Bunti is a resident of Jaganabad district of Bihar. Currently his family lives in Govindpur. This is the second time the CBI has made an arrest from Dhanbad in connection with the question paper leak case. Earlier on July 3, the CBI arrested Aman Singh from Babu Nagar of Saraidela police station area of ​​Dhanbad. According to sources, CBI officials have gone to Patna along with Boondi Sharma. He will be produced before a special CBI court on Saturday. However, Bundy's arrest is yet to be confirmed by the investigating agency. CBI has taken many people including Aman Singh into custody and is interrogating them in Patna. CBI sources said that the facts so far discovered in the question paper leak case are being verified from the five convicts who are in jail. Apart from this, information about their participation in other examinations conducted in the past is also being collected. Aman Singh had given several key pieces of information to the CBI. There were questions like mastermind, money transactions, absconding Rocky, whereabouts of Sanjeev Mukhya, number of candidates. According to reports, Aman Singh, who was arrested in Dhanbad, has given important information to the CBI. On investigation, it was revealed that Poondi Sharma was doing the money transfer. Along with the transactions, the CBI arrested Aman Singh from Dhanbad two days ago. By this time, Bundy, the second accused in the paper leak case, went absconding. Based on the information given by Aman Singh during the investigation, Bundy was arrested from Jharia. Along with money transactions, Bundy was also doing recruitment work. If evidence is to be believed, during the raid at his house, the CBI has seized cash, three bank accounts, four mobile phones, village land documents and vehicle documents. According to sources, Bundy and Aman Singh were close to Rakhi, the main accused in the paper leak case. Rocky is the son-in-law of Sanjeev Mukhiya, the main culprit in the paper leak scam. So far, five accused from Jharkhand have been arrested, including Aman Singh, Amit Singh and Oasis School principal Ehsan ul Haq, vice principal Imtiaz and Jamaluddin. A CBI team has been camping in Dhanbad since Wednesday at the houses of Aman and Bundi. On July 3, the CBI conducted simultaneous raids at Aman Singh's house in Govindpur and at the house of Bundi Singh alias Bundi Sharma. However, Poondi Sharma escaped and won. During this operation, the CBI seized one of his XUV vehicles. From the same day, the Central Intelligence Agency was looking for Bundy. Informed sources said: On Thursday night, CBI officials arrested Bundy from a man's house in Jharia. Bihar's EOU submitted its inquiry report to the Supreme Court. The case related to the NEET exam is coming up for hearing in the Supreme Court on Monday. In its earlier hearing, the apex court had asked the EOU to submit an inquiry report. EOU ADG Nayyar Hasnain Khan had approached the Supreme Court on Thursday regarding the inquiry report. Before the CBI probe began, the Bihar government handed over the investigation into the NEET question paper leak case to the European Union. The EOU arrested several people during the investigation.
