BSE: Thursday was a historic day for the Mumbai Stock Exchange (BSE) as the combined market capitalization of all its listed companies touched Rs 447.30 lakh crore. Following this remarkable achievement, the 30-share BSE Sensex rose 62.87 points or 0.08% to end at an unprecedented high of 80,049.67 points. This momentous occasion showcased the strength and vibrancy of the Indian stock market. This event set a new benchmark for investors and market participants. At a certain stage of the trading session, a spectacular rally of 405.84 points was seen, due to which, unfortunately, the rally was short-lived and then the gains came down -yet yesterday, the combined market capitalization of all companies listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) was at an all-time high of Rs.4,47, 30,452.99 crores.
