Let us tell you that some media organizations were claiming that the SIT has recorded the statements of 100 people in its investigation report. According to the media, in the report, the SIT held the event organizing committee responsible for the accident and claimed that the stampede occurred due to lack of proper arrangements and negligence by the organizers. In its report, the SIT has also held the organizing committee responsible for hiding facts for violating the conditions of the program permission. It was also claimed by the media that the SIT has also raised questions on the attitude of local officers. The SIT said that the local officers did not go to the spot and take stock of the situation before the program started. The crowd kept increasing continuously and the officers present there could not assess the correct situation. However, now ADG Agra Zone has termed the news of the SIT report as misleading. Let us tell you that after the stampede accident, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had formed an SIT under the leadership of ADG Agra Zone Anupam Kulshreshtha. Yogi had asked for the report within 24 hours, however due to relief and rescue work, the SIT has asked the CM for additional time to prepare the report.
