The Supreme Court will hear the 26 petitions related to the NEET exam question paper leak on July 8
A hearing will be held in the Supreme Court on July 8 regarding the National Examination Agency (NDA) NEET exam paper leak. A total of 26 petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court regarding the paper leak. An affidavit has been filed by the Center and the National Examinations Agency regarding the paper leak. The NTA said the paper leaks took place only in Patna and Godhra centres. In such a situation, the entire examination should not be canceled on the basis of individual examples. Along with this, the NTA has also denied the claim that the students who score high in the exam are from certain centres. In an affidavit, the NDA said that it has withheld the results of the students involved in malpractices in the examination and has issued notices to them to show cause of punishment and ban. NDA claims that the entire examination was not affected by unfair means and individual paper leaks. Hence, cancellation of the examination is highly counterproductive and particularly harmful to the students who have cleared the examination. 'Alleged leak will not affect the entire exam' The alleged leak attempt seems to have no impact on the conduct of the full exam on May 5 because of the number of candidates involved. According to investigative agencies, this is very less compared to the number of candidates appearing in the exam. NTA informed that the NEET PG 2024 examination was conducted completely honestly and confidentially without any illegal activity. The allegation of malpractices in the group in this regard is completely unsubstantiated, false and baseless. The NEET exam was conducted by NDA on 5th May for the entrance exam for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH and other medical courses. The Supreme Court is coming up for hearing on July 8. The central government has also filed its position in the Supreme Court before the NDA regarding the leak of the NEET exam paper. The Ministry of Education has explained in the affidavit filed that it is committed to conduct all competitive examinations in a fair and transparent manner. Maintaining confidentiality of examination papers is its top priority. Violators of confidentiality of question papers will be punished with full force of law.
