Rahul Gandhi received the victory certificate from Wayanad, accompanied by Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka.

Rahul Gandhi, the former president of the Congress party who contested in Wayanad and won, received the victory certificate on Saturday. During this, Communist Party of India President Sonia Gandhi, Party General Secretary KC Venugopal, General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi and many senior leaders of Wayanad were present. Rahul Gandhi contested in Wayanad for the second time and won hugely. Rahul entered the political arena in Wayanad for the first time in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. In this election, Rahul Gandhi contested from Raebareli Lok Sabha constituency in Wayanad and UP. Rahul Gandhi has won both seats. Former party president Sonia Gandhi had earlier won the Rae Bareli constituency. He has been an MP since 2004. However, before the elections this time, Sonia Gandhi shifted to the Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan. Talking about the Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency, Rahul Gandhi won by a margin of 364422 votes with more than three lakh votes. In the election, he faced Anniraja from the Communist Party of India and K Surendran from the BJP. Rahul Gandhi, who did a great job in the election, won the constituency again. CBI's Annie Raja came second. Raja got 283,023 votes and BJP's K Surendran got 141,045 votes. Senior leaders from Wayanad Constituency, Kerala State presented the Election Certificate to Shri @Rahul Gandhi in the presence of CPP President Smt. Sonia Gandhi Ji, INC General Secretary (Organization) Sri @kcvenugopalmp, and General Secretary Smt. Rahul Gandhi has won more in Rae Bareli than in Wayanad. Rahul, who is contesting for the first time from Raebareli constituency, has secured 6,87,649 votes. His competition in the election was against BJP's Dinesh Pratap Singh and Bahujan Samaj Party's Thakur Prasad Yadav. In the election, Dinesh got 2,97,619 votes and BSP candidate got 21,624 votes. If you look at it like that, Rahul won Raebareli by a huge margin of 3,90,030. Apart from Rahul Gandhi winning from two constituencies in Wayanad or Raebareli, it is also undecided about giving up one seat. It remains to be seen whether Rahul Gandhi will leave Wayanad constituency or Raebareli constituency. There is talk in the political circle that Rahul may withdraw from the Wayanad constituency. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi contested in two constituencies. The first is Amethi constituency and the second is Wayanad. Rahul Gandhi faced defeat in Amethi at the hands of Smriti Irani and victory in Wayanad.
