A health worker took a blood sample to test for filariasis

Kundit. Under the National Communicable Disease Control Programme, a blood test was conducted in Katjodi village on Saturday night. The medical team of Kundit CHC distributed filariasis kits to seven patients identified under the Filaria Eradication Program and imparted information on its use. Medical teams collected people's blood samples at night. Blood samples were collected from 45 people above 20 years of age in Katjodi village under the block. During this period, blood samples were collected from filariasis patients and normal people. The night blood samples collected were brought to the laboratory of the Community Health Center for testing. Slides are sent to Ranchi, Patna and Delhi for investigation as per requirement. Health workers TPC Vinay Kumar, Community Health Center Kundit, MPW Salim Khan, Ashok Mandal, Lab Technician Arup Mandal, Abdul Latif, PDT Awad Bihari Ram, Swastya Sahiya and others participated in the event.
