All the seven water treatment plants of Delhi get their water from the Munak Canal. Appeal to Haryana Govt: Water Resources Minister added: If Haryana Govt doesn't release proper amount of water, Delhi's water problem will worsen in next 2 days and water shortage will occur in all areas. city. The Haryana government has been requested not to do such dirty politics to harass the people of Delhi in the scorching heat and to provide water to Delhi. Due to water scarcity in Delhi, people are flocking to slums in many parts of New Delhi and East Delhi for drinking water. As soon as water tankers arrive in these areas, people rush to fill water. The Supreme Court on Thursday said that drinking water shortage in Delhi is the biggest crisis at present. There should be no politics in this. On June 7, the court ordered Himachal Pradesh to release an additional 137 cubic feet of water to Delhi. Along with this, the Haryana government has also been asked to ensure proper water supply to Delhi. One cusec is considered equal to the flow of 28.317 liters of water per second.
