Pak PM raised the Kashmir issue in China, know what the Dragon said then
Pakistani PM Shahbaz Sharif returned from a four-day visit to China on Saturday. During a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing, Shahbaz once again raised the issue of Kashmir and gave the Chinese President an update on the situation in the region.
A joint statement was issued after the meeting, in which China expressed its opposition to India’s unilateral action in Jammu and Kashmir. The statement stressed that the long-standing dispute between India and Pakistan should be resolved peacefully in accordance with the United Nations Charter and UNSC resolutions.
Let us tell you that China has already made similar statements about Kashmir, which India has been continuously opposing. India’s Foreign Ministry has reiterated that the world knows India’s stand on Kashmir. Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are integral parts of India and will always remain so. No other country has the right to comment on this issue.
