Narendra Modi Cabinet Full List: Narendra Modi is going to take oath as the Prime Minister for the third time in a row this evening. Before that, he had a chai pe discussion with potential ministers joining the cabinet at his residence. According to the information that has come out so far, a total of 43 ministers are going to take oath today. 43 leaders have received a call from Rashtrapati Bhavan for the formal swearing-in ceremony. BJP can retain 32 ministerial posts. TDP and Janata Dal are likely to get two ministerial posts each.

For the first time since 2014, the Bharatiya Janata Party failed to win 272 seats in the 543-member Lok Sabha. In today's swearing-in ceremony, two members each from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Janata Dal (United) or Janata Dal (Secular) and one member each from the other eight constituent parties of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will be sworn in as ministers in the new government on Sunday.

TDP emerged as the second and third largest constituent parties of NDA with 16 MPs and JDU with 12 MPs.

The MLAs who took the oath of office were invited for tea at the Prime Minister's residence at 11 am. These include JDU's Lallan Singh and Ramnath Thakur, Shiv Sena's Prataprao Jadhav, Rashtriya Lok Dal (RALOD), Jan Shakti Party (Ram Vilas) or LJP (RV) Chirag Paswan, Janata Dal (Secular) HD Kumaraswamy, AJSU Party's Chandra Prakash Chaudhary, Republican Party of They include Ramdas Athawale of India, Anupriya Patel of Apna Dal (Sonelal) and Jitanram Manjhi of Hindustani Awam Morcha.

Manjhi (79) and Kumaraswamy (64) will take oath and are former Chief Ministers of Bihar and Karnataka respectively.
