Going to the Box Office: Go to me had a strong opening day at the box office, earning Rs 4 crores on its first day (Friday), after its premiere to overwhelmingly positive reviews from the public. Sharvari Wagh and Abhay Verma’s film showed an amazing increase in numbers on the first Saturday and minted Rs 6 crores. The overall collection of the film crossed Rs 10 crores thanks to the trend and great word of mouth. While ‘Mr And Mrs Mahi,’ starring Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is giving Go to me some competition, watching how this Sharvari film does at the box office on its first weekend of release would be fascinating.
Munjya Box Office Analysis
Go to me has the potential to be a much-needed clean hit for the Hindi film industry if it does well on Monday. While the film industry has had several triumphs in recent months, none of the other films have truly achieved breakthrough-level sales, except for Shaitaan.
It’s interesting to note that after defeating Bunty and Babli 2which brought in Rs 2.60 crores on the same day, Sharvari’s opening performance to date has been his highest.
About Sharvargi Wagh- Abhay Verma's Film 'Munjya'
A boy’s request to marry Munni, a girl seven years his senior, is turned down in 1952. Munni is married to someone else after the boy’s head is violently shaved off. The youngster goes dark magicking beneath a peepal tree one evening with his sister by his side. Attempting to use his sister as a sacrificial goat, he kills herself in the process. The youngster becomes Munjya, a monster that lives on members of his own family and bothers them to locate his Munni because he dies within ten days of chopping off his head.
These days, Bittu (Abhay Verma), who works in a hair salon with his mother (Mona Singh), experiences regular nightmares that frequently catch him by surprise. He is in love with Bella (Sharvari Wagh), but he can never tell her how much he loves her since she has always thought of him as a friend, he also finds out that she is seeing a foreigner named Kuba.
