The coin, which had been stuck around the child's neck for 7 years, became a problem when it started to melt, and was then taken like this.
Doctors have surgically removed a coin from the throat of a 12-year-old boy in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh. The amazing thing about this is that 7 years ago the child accidentally swallowed the coin. 7 years have not suffered much. But on June 4, he suddenly developed pain in his throat and stomach. The family took him to a private hospital for a check-up. An X-ray of the baby was taken there. An x-ray showed a coin stuck in the child's neck. The doctors then performed a telescopic operation on the child's throat and removed the coin. The child's throat and stomach pain continued in April, his family said. But after taking medicine he started feeling better. On June 4, the child had the same pain again. This time the pain was unbearable. Ajay, father of 12-year-old Angul, said, 'On June 4, Angul told me that he was in severe pain. He couldn't stand it. So, we immediately took him to the district hospital. There ENT surgeon Dr. Vivek Singh examined the throat and investigated. Then I remembered that my uncle had withdrawn the coin 7 years ago. So is this happening? Then uncle's x-ray was done. Swallowing a coin seven or eight years ago showed the coin stuck around the uncle's neck. On Wednesday, the coin stuck in the uncle's neck was surgically removed through binoculars. This is a 2010 five rupee coin. Apart from surgeon Dr. Vivek, Dr. Vikas Chandra was included in the team of doctors. The family members were indifferent and the child's maternal uncle Adesh, when Angu was five years old, swallowed this coin. He was treated by nearby doctors. The coin did not come out but there was no special problem. Due to this the family members also became indifferent. Sometimes he vomits. Then he will be fine. But this time the pain was too much. Therefore, the coin was surgically removed. What did the surgeon say? In this case, ENT surgeon Dr Vivek Singh said the family had said that the uncle swallowed the coin seven years ago. An x-ray revealed a coin lodged in one side of the esophagus. It started melting. The coin was stuck so as not to cause too much trouble to the child. But a month and a half ago he developed jaundice. When an x-ray was taken during a routine checkup, the coin was visible. Later the doctor who treated him informed the family but they did not notice. After he was brought to the district hospital, the coin was taken out after surgery. It is healthy.
