Lok Sabha result 2024: Six ministers, including Jharkhand Chief Minister Sambhai Soran, failed to field candidates from their assembly.
Ranchi: Lok Sabha Election-2024 result is here. This Lok Sabha election also indicates the strength of the parties in the assembly. The MLAs who controlled the assembly could not lead their own party from there. At the same time, the MLAs contesting the elections could not advance in their constituencies. In the Lok Sabha elections, seven ministers, including Chief Minister Sambhai Soran, could not give the All India candidate a lead in their constituencies. The BJP is leading in Seraikela, the chief minister's assembly constituency. Apart from this, Mithilesh Thakur, Basant Soran, Satyanand Bhokta, Baby Devi, Badal Bhadralekh and Panna Gupta could not lead the alliance candidates in their respective constituencies. At the same time, four ministers (Alamgir Alam, Hafizul Hasan, Deepak Biruwa and Dr. Rameshwar Oran) led the coalition in their respective assembly constituencies. According to the assembly-wise tally of the Lok Sabha elections, the NDA is leading in 50 assembly constituencies and the Indian Alliance in 29 assembly constituencies. In this, BJP is leading in 47 seats and AJSU in 3 assembly constituencies. At the same time Congress has won 15 assembly seats and JMM 14 seats. Jairam Mahato has secured the highest number of votes in Kiriti Lok Sabha constituency, Dumri and Komia assembly constituencies. However, the AJSU won the Giridih Lok Sabha seat, while the JMM came second. Even in the Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency, Devendra Mahato was second in Chili. BJP is leading in all assembly constituencies including Dhanbad, Koderma, Palamu, Hazaribagh and Jamshedpur Lok Sabha constituencies. Congress was leading in all assembly constituencies of Kunti and Lohardaka and JMM candidates in all assembly constituencies of Rajmahal. Out of these 5 MLAs are behind in their own assembly constituencies. These include JP Patel, Vinod Singh, Pradeep Yadav, Sameer Mohanty and Samra Linda, while six MLAs Sita Soran, Nalin Soran, Jaypa Manji, Manish Jaiswal, Tulu Mahato and Mathura Mahato managed to win in their assembly constituencies. India with ST reserved in 23 and NDA lead in 5: 28 assembly seats in the state are reserved for ST. In the Lok Sabha polls, the Indian Alliance took a lead of 23. At the same time, the NDA was leading in only five ST seats. Although the NDA won the Lok Sabha constituencies, the BJP did not win in the ST assembly constituencies that fall under those Lok Sabha constituencies. For instance, the BJP won in Ranchi, but lost in Gijri, an ST reserved seat.
