The channel has quoted sources as saying that Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena, which won 7 seats, also wants one cabinet and 2 minister of state posts in the Modi government. Chirag Paswan of LJP (R), which won 5 seats, wants 2 ministerial posts. Jitan Ram Manjhi of HAM party is also among those demanding ministerial posts. JDS, which does politics on farmers' issues and won 2 seats, also wants the Agriculture Ministry.

Nitish Kumar has come to Delhi 2 times in recent times. Before the results of the Lok Sabha elections, he came to Delhi and met PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Nitish Kumar also attended the NDA meeting on Wednesday. It is believed that 4 ministers from Nitish's JDU can also be made in the Modi government.
