Born in a tribal family, Jewel Oram, representing Sundargarh constituency, Odisha, was born on 22 March 1961 in a tribal family in Kendudihi village in Sundargarh district, Odisha. His father's name was Dilka and mother's name was Puduki Oram. Jewel Oram married Zingia Oram on 8 March 1987. He also has two daughters. Worked at BHEL: Talking about education, Jewel Oram studied Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Utkalmani Gopabandhu Institute of Engineering. Before starting his political career, he worked in Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) as a support team. Jewel Oram is the big face of BJP in Odisha. He has a good grasp of the area. He is very popular among people. He was a member of the 17th Lok Sabha and was re-elected to the 18th Lok Sabha. Before this, Juwal was also a member of 12th, 13th, 14th Lok Sabha and 16th Lok Sabha.
