Melania leaves Trump Tower with Barron after Stormy Daniels' advice
After receiving firm counsel from former adult film star Stormy Daniels, former First Lady Melania Trump was spotted departing Trump Tower on Tuesday. This marks her first public appearance since Donald Trump was convicted in a hush-money case.
Melania was seen wearing a golden-brown jumpsuit as she left her New York residence with 18-year-old Barron, according to photos published by the NY Post. She got into a black Secret Service SUV that was packed with at least seven Louis Vuitton luggage bags.
The publication also noted that the bulletproof vehicle contained several garment totes marked with Barron Trump’s initials.
The car was said to be on its way to Bedminster, New Jersey, where the Trump family has a residence. Melania emerged for her first public appearance in almost two weeks, sparking speculation that she had been confined to her penthouse following developments in Trump’s trial in New York.
During a Fox & Friends interview on Sunday, Trump mentioned that Melania is doing well, although the criminal trial was extremely challenging for her. He said, “It’s tougher, I think it’s probably in many ways, it’s tougher on my family than it is on me.”
During an interview, Stormy Daniels urged Melania to leave the ex-president after he was found guilty in the hush money trial. Daniels, whose actual name is Stephanie Clifford, responded affirmatively when questioned about whether Melania should end her marriage with Trump after nearly two decades.
She was quickly asked, “On the grounds of?”
She mentioned that he has a criminal record, has shown abusive behavior, and was held responsible for assault, referring to the case involving writer E. Jean Carroll. In this case, Trump was found accountable for sexual assault after Carroll accused him of raping her in a New York department store in the 1990s.
Melania’s rare public appearances, such as attending her son Barron’s Florida high school graduation on May 17, have sparked concerns amid Trump’s escalating campaign for the Republican presidential nomination.
Last week, Trump was convicted on 34 criminal charges, including concealing hush money paid to Daniels before the 2016 election. This payment was linked to an alleged 2006 sexual encounter between Trump and Daniels, shortly after his marriage to Melania while she was pregnant with Barron.
