With what conditions is Nitish in NDA? Bihar assembly elections and the demand for special statehood are gaining momentum
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar went to Delhi and attended the NDA meeting. Nitish Kumar has been seen as the king maker in this crowd for the last ten years. Ahead of the meeting, Nitish and his cohorts gave a clear message that they will form the government, but Nitish has made several demands on the condition that they support the central government, which the BJP has been forced to accept. So, now it seems that JTU has given a green signal to Prime Minister Modi to run the government by giving a letter of support. Is the Bihar assembly election top of Nitish's priorities? Nitish Kumar is excited by Bihar election results. That is why the ministers close to Nitish Kumar are clearly announcing in Patna that they will contest the next assembly elections under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. While there was intense debate before the Lok Sabha election results were out, it seems to have died down now that the results have come in JTU's favour. But Nitish is not going to stop there. Special status demand tops According to sources, the special status demand for Bihar is top of the priorities to remove the post against Nitish. Apparently, Nitish wants to give special status to a poor state like Bihar in the coming assembly elections and give a special gift to the people of that state. Apart from this, Nitish also wants to fulfill the promise of giving Rs 2 lakh to 94 lakh people below the poverty line. Hence, the demand for special status under the special rules is at the top of Nitishkumar's priorities. Apart from giving special status to Bihar, Nitish is also expected to press these demands to blunt the opposition's issues, be it the Central University issue in Bihar or the Jatiwari census. Apparently, Nitish wants to repeat the performance of 2010 in the next assembly elections. So, accepting Bihar's demand for special status, Nitish is trying to defeat the opposition with this new weapon. once again. Therefore, Nitish has presented the idea that BJP is ready for elections. How many ministerial posts does Nitish want? This time Nitish Kumar has agreed to join the government on his own terms. Hence Nitish's emphasis is more on proportional share rather than index share. Nitish knows the bitter experience of the last two governments. So, Nitish wants two Union Ministers and one Minister of State in the Central Government anyway. But it is said that there has been a demand from Nitish's side that 4 ministerial positions are required. But less than three solutions do not seem likely. Nitish Kumar has his eyes on agriculture, rural development ministry and railways. Nitish wants these two ministries at any cost. At the same time, Nitish on his part wants the Minister of State post anyway. According to reliable sources in the JDU, among the four ministers, the names of Sanjay Jha, Lalan Singh, Ramnath Thakur and Sunil Kushwaha are in the forefront. Of these four, two are senior leaders, Ramnath Thakur from the most backward community and Sunil Kushwaha from the Ghori community. Apparently, Sanjay Jha will join the BJP as a minister in the government and act as a bridge between the JDU and the BJP. Nitish Kumar took over the Ministry of Railways. That is why it is one of Nitish's favorite ministries. But Ashwini Vaishnav has prepared a blueprint for the railway network to be laid in the country over the next ten years, which PM Modi wants to complete in the country. Therefore, it is believed that the BJP should keep the railway ministry and appease them by giving them agriculture, rural development and other ministries in return. Nitish Kumar has proven time and again that he is a negotiator. They were given fewer seats in the last Lok Sabha elections. But Nitish was successful in getting seats at par with BJP. Nitish's party has definitely contested one seat in the Lok Sabha elections this time. But Nitish's landslide victory in the assembly polls is considered certain. Vijay Chaudhary also gave this hint at a press conference in Patna today. Apparently, as per the earlier formula, the debate is also going on very fast in the JDU that JDU should contest elections in more seats and BJP in fewer seats. The question of governance at the center and governance at the center is one of the top priorities of the BJP. Therefore, it is believed that the JTU may be forced to bow down to the BJP to include Nitish Kumar.
