In Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh, a youth shot a man living in the neighborhood with a country gun. The incident took place in Khaidi village under Varasivani police station limits. Around 12 noon on Tuesday, the youth stopped his neighbor on the road. An argument ensued between the two. Then the youth shot at the neighbors. The bullet grazed the neighbor's chest, seriously injuring him. After the incident, the injured youth was admitted to the hospital. From there he was again referred to Nagpur. Rakesh, a 24-year-old resident of Kaidi village, was taking his pregnant wife to the hospital for treatment. On the way, Mahesh named Chotu Panot stopped him near Panjari. Mahesh had a friend with him. There was an argument between Mahesh and Rakesh over some issue. Then Mahesh took a country gun from his pocket and shot Rakesh. He then fled the scene with his accomplice. Rakesh was shot in the chest. The wife screamed as she saw her husband writhing in pain. Then many people came there to help Rakesh. He was immediately taken to the hospital. Seeing that his condition was critical, the doctors referred him to Nagpur Hospital. The injured youth's aunt said she had an affair with her nephew Rakesh Mahesh's wife two years ago. But later the dispute ended through compromise. After that Rakesh also got married elsewhere. But Mahesh feels that there is a connection between his wife and Rakesh. Now the police have registered a case. They are looking for the absconding criminal Mahesh and his accomplice. A few days ago, a minor shot his girlfriend under the Birsa Police Station. As a result, he died. Now again, when such an incident comes to light, people are questioning the action of the police.
