AJSU candidate of NDA alliance Chandraprakash Chowdhury has won the Giridi Lok Sabha constituency by a margin of 1,03,817 votes. Chandraprakash Chaudhary has secured a total of 4,51,139 votes. All India JMM candidate Mathura Prasad Mahato secured 3,70,259 votes. Independent candidate Jairam Mahato secured 3,47,322 votes. The BJP has held the Giridih Lok Sabha seat since 2009. Let us tell you that a total of 16 candidates had filed their nomination papers from Kiritih Lok Sabha constituency. This seat has been held by the BJP since 2009. Polling for the Dhanbad Lok Sabha constituency was held in the sixth phase on May 25. NDA has held this constituency since 2009. In 2019, AJSU's CP Chowdhury defeated AJSU's Chandra Prakash Chowdhury in the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, defeating JMM candidate Jakarnath Mahato from Krithi. AJSU got a total of 58.7 percent votes and JMM 36.13 percent votes. BJP won in 2014. In 2014, BJP's Ravindra Pandey won the Giridih Lok Sabha seat by securing 40.40 percent votes.
