Boil it and use –According to Ayurveda, raw milk should be taken only from a healthy cow and should be consumed immediately otherwise there is a possibility of germs growing in it. Also, it can cause problems like skin disease, allergy and vomiting. It is better to boil the milk before using it, this way there is no risk of bacteria and its benefits are the same as raw milk.
Consumption with medicine-In malaria, common fever, dry cough, pneumonia, physical weakness, heart diseases, burning sensation, piles, epilepsy, mental illness, bone and joint pain, etc., the patient must take milk along with the medicines. In these diseases, there is excess of vata and pitta. Milk reduces this. It also cools down the heat of the medicines. Patients suffering from diarrhoea, dysentery, obesity, diabetes, jaundice, liver diseases and arthritis and whose joints are swollen should not use milk. In these diseases, the digestive system becomes weak and milk being heavy, cannot be digested easily. The patient may complain of acidity, indigestion and vomiting.

Do not consume milk with sour fruits. Doing so can cause indigestion and burning sensation.Do not take milk on an empty stomach. Always take it with breakfast. Being heavy, it can cause stomach pain.Drinking milk about an hour after dinner at night calms down the heat of the spices in the food.Do not boil milk in aluminium, bronze, copper or uncoated brass vessels. This can cause nausea, dizziness and vomiting etc. if metal particles enter the milk.
