Uttarakhand Shunao Poll: Congress wins in Uttarakhand, BJP wins again
Poll results for Lok Sabha elections in Uttarakhand state have been released. According to PEOPLE'S INSIHT and POLSTRAT polls, Bharatiya Janata Party has won all 5 seats, same as last time. The Indian alliance did not open its account this time either. If we look at the results of the last Lok Sabha elections, BJP has won all the seats in Devabhumi. It seems that BJP will make a strong comeback from here this time too. Even though the Congress is trying its best to retain power, according to the survey data, the party does not seem to be making any gains. This time in Uttarakhand, it was expected that there would be a tough competition in the Pauri Garhwal Lok Sabha seat, where Anil Paluni is contesting on behalf of the BJP and Ganesh Kodi is contesting on behalf of the Congress. But according to People's Insight and POLLSTRAT polls, the BJP is likely to win this constituency as well. Apart from BJP and Congress, candidates of many parties were in the fray in this election. However, the main contest is considered to be between the BJP and the Congress. BJP's strong performance today: The situation is very clear from the polls of People Intelligence and POLLSTRAT. This time too BJP has won all the constituencies from here. Pressure was put on the BJP to re-release the results of the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections. This time 57.2 percent votes were reported. Inspite of this, the BJP has performed tremendously here. In the 2009 elections, the Congress won all five Lok Sabha seats in the state. But after this, in the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP won all five seats, reducing the Congress to zero. Congress has been struggling in this state since then. Haridwar Lok Sabha seat is contested by BJP candidate Trivendra Singh Rawat and Congress candidate Virendra Rawat. Mala Rajya Lakshmi Shah has been nominated as the BJP candidate for Tehri Lok Sabha constituency. Whereas Congress has bet on Jodh Singh Gunsola. Anil Baluni Pauri is contesting from BJP's Lok Sabha seat, against whom Congress has fielded Ganesh Kodiyal as its candidate. Nainital's Udham Singh Nagar seat is contested between BJP's Ajay Bhatt and Congress's Prakash Joshi. Ajay Tamda of BJP and Pradeep Tamda of Congress are facing each other in Almora parliamentary seat.
