West Bengal Sunao Poll: Will Adhir Chaudhary Lose to Yusuf Pathan in Baharampur? Know the rating

Baharampur Lok Sabha constituency is considered the stronghold of Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary. Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary has been winning this constituency continuously since 1999. This time he is again contesting the election as a Congress candidate for the sixth time. Trinamool Congress has been trying to defeat Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary for a long time, but so far it has not succeeded. This time, Trinamool Congress has fielded famous cricketer Yusuf Pathan as its candidate, while BJP has fielded Nirmal Kumar Saha as its candidate. Polls by TV9, 'Pollstat' and 'People Insights' estimate that Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary will face defeat, although this will be known only after the results are announced on June 4. According to the survey report, out of 42 seats in Bengal, BJP will get 17, Trinamool 24 and Congress 1. At the same time, Congress candidate Isha Khan Chaudhary could win the Malta South constituency. In fact, the survey predicts that Adhir has no chance of winning in Baharampur. Former cricketer Yusuf Pathan has a chance to win. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury won by securing 591,147 votes with 45.47 percent votes. Whereas TMC's Apoorva Sarkar got 39.26 percent votes with 510,410 votes. Whereas, BJP's Krishna Juyardar Arya got 11.00 percent votes with 143,038 votes. Political rivalry continues between Mamata and Adhir who was not only the Murshidabad and Bengal MP but also prominent in Delhi politics. What would be the outcome in such a situation? All eyes are on it. Since the Trinamool has given a seat to its star candidate, the constituency was rife with speculation from the beginning. However, Adhir has repeatedly claimed that he will win. At the same time, according to political analysts, if Adair is defeated, it will be a huge victory for the Trinamool Party. In Bengali politics, Adhir Chowdhury and Mamata Banerjee consider each other bitter rivals politically. TMC won seven assembly constituencies under the Baharampur Lok Sabha Centre. In the 2021 assembly elections, out of these 7 seats, Trinamool Congress won 6 seats and BJP one seat. In Parwan (SC), TMC's Apurva Sarkar Gandhi, TMC's Humayun Kabir, TMC's Rabiul Alam Chowdhury from Reginagar, Hasanuzzaman Shaikh from Beldanga, BJP's Subrata Maitra from Baharampur and TMC's Najgoda won.
