Police said that the 51-year-old prisoner who attacked Pickton has been taken into custody. Police are investigating the reasons for the murder.

The victim expressed happinessCynthia Cardinal, the sister of one of the victims of Pickton’s brutality, told a media channel that she was very happy to hear the news of Pickton’s murder. She said that now she can move on by forgetting the pain of her sister’s death. Pickton used to target drug addict girls and sex workers. These included women who had run away from their homes. During the investigation, the police found the remains of only 6 women, and the investigators also found DNA of at least 33 women. However, due to lack of evidence, Pickton was not convicted of killing these women.

Robert was born on 26 October 1949 in Canada. He was a butcher by profession. He used to be in touch with sex workers and lure them to his farm by offering them more money and then murder them. He also wrote a book ‘Picton: In His Own Words’, which was banned after controversy.
