Voting continues on 57 seats, from Lalu, Yogi to Kangana, many big names cast their votes

Lok Sabha Election 2024 Phase 7: Today (1 June), voting has started at 7 am in the seventh and final phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 and will continue till 6 pm. In this phase, voting is being held on 57 seats of the remaining eight states and union territories. Voting has been done on 485 seats in the last 6 phases. In this phase, 904 candidates including Prime Minister Narendra Modi are in the fray. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is contesting from Varanasi for the third consecutive time.
Today, voting is being held on a total of 57 seats in seven states – Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Punjab and the Union Territory of Chandigarh. Voting is also being held for the remaining 42 assembly seats in Odisha.
Meanwhile, many big names of the country arrived to cast their votes from their respective places. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, BJP national president JP Nadda, BJP candidate from Hamirpur in Himachal Anurag Thakur along with many other big personalities are included.
For your information, the fate of a total of 904 candidates is at stake in this phase. Counting of votes will take place on June 4.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu cast his vote at a polling station in Hamirpur for the seventh phase. During this, CM Sukhu said, “I want to appeal to the public to vote in maximum numbers in this great festival of democracy… This election is the election of the people…”

BJP leader and actor Mithun Chakraborty cast his vote. He said, “I will not say anything today that would suggest that I am influencing others. It was my duty to vote. I stood in line for 40 minutes and voted. I have fulfilled my political duty.”
