Yogi government will give compensation of Rs 4 lakh on death due to heat stroke, post mortem is necessary

New Delhi. After the death of many people due to extreme heat and heat wave, the UP government has now taken a big decision on this. As per the order of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, if anyone dies due to heat wave in the state, then the government will give him a compensation of four lakh rupees, however, for this it will be necessary to conduct a post-mortem of the deceased. The post-mortem will reveal the real cause of death.

The government has said that if a person dies due to heat stroke, then the family of the person concerned will have to inform the Lekhpal, Tehsildar, SDM and other senior officials about it. After this, the post-mortem of the deceased will be done. After the post-mortem, its report will be sent by the Revenue Department to the DM of the concerned district. On the basis of the report sent by the Revenue Department, the compensation amount will be released to the family of the deceased by the district administration.

CM Yogi has instructed that people affected by heat stroke should be treated immediately. Apart from this, instructions have also been given to provide adequate electricity supply everywhere from village to city. Water should be made available to people at the right time, along with this, the Chief Minister has also instructed to make arrangements for water and shade at public places for cows and other animals. The Chief Minister has also asked to provide food and water facilities for birds. Giving information in this regard, the State Relief Commissioner P. Guru Prasad said that like other disasters, the DM of the concerned district is authorized to make payment in case of death due to heat stroke. If the personnel engaged in election duty die due to heat stroke or heat stroke, then there is a provision to give them compensation up to 15 lakhs under the rules of the Election Commission of India.
