In Lohardaka, two boys drowned while bathing in a dam, and a cattle grazing accident occurred.
Lohardaka: Two children (a boy and a girl) drowned after taking a bath in a crude dam constructed at Thonda in the border area of Senha in Lohardaka district of Jharkhand. On getting information about this, the constituency administration and the police administration rushed and informed the whole matter. It is said that they were herding cattle. While taking a bath, he drowned in deep water. As a result, he died. The two children had gone to graze cows at a crude dam constructed at Doda, west of Medho School in Senha Police Station limits of Loharthaka district. Both children have gone to graze cows. Where there were other small children. Then, both the children went to bathe in the dam and got into the deep water. Both drowned there. The deceased has been identified as Ritesh Bhagat, 9-year-old son of Bandana Bhagat, a resident of Ugra Dhangara Doli. Anupa Kumari, the 8-year-old daughter of Rudna Oran, a resident of Haripari under Bhuso police station area of Kumla district, has been identified. On receiving the information, officials reached the village and informed that Anupa Kumari Ugra Dhangara Doli had come to her maternal grandmother's house late Satyanarayan Oran and had gone for cattle grazing along with the village children. On receiving information about the drowning of children in Doda, Block Development Officer Sankaram Murmu, SI Manoj Kumar and ASI Jamshed Khan along with their team reached the spot and recovered the bodies of the children and sent them to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. In this case, both the minor children drowned in the water and will be given assistance as per the government rules. This is a very sad incident. Assistance will be given to the affected family as per government rules. An autopsy is currently underway.
