An inspector who was on election duty in Bihar died of heatstroke
Heat wave in Bihar: Extreme heat continues to wreak havoc in Bihar. Due to this heat, a sub-inspector who was on election duty in Rohdas district died of heat stroke. Deceased Sub-Inspector Devnath Ram was posted at Kharik Police Station in Navkachia Police District. He went to Rohdas for election work from Kharik police station and stayed in the camp. Elections will be held in Rohdas on June 1. Inspector Devanath Ram, who was living in the election camp, fainted in the camp on Wednesday due to intense heat. After that, fellow police officers present admitted the sub-inspector to a hospital in Rohdas for treatment. The doctor declared him dead after examining him there. Devnath Ram, who was recruited into the police force in 2009, is the son of late Gurbikan Ram, a resident of Amrai Nawada, Bahia police station, Bhojpur district. He joined the police force in 2009. Devanath Ram was the third of four brothers. Elder brothers Chand Ram, Chand Govind Ram, Devnath Ram, Premnath Prasad. Apart from this his family includes his wife Reena Devi and five children. After Devanath Roy's death, his wife Reena Devi's health condition is very bad. Reena Devi fainted crying. He is under the observation of doctors. Devnath Ram's daughters Roshni Kumari, Jyoti Kumari, Julie Kumari, Reshmi Kumari, sons Deepak Kumar and Deepansu Kumar are also in critical condition. Mother Sono Kunwar is also crying and in critical condition. Rohdas police sent the inspector's body to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
