After Arvind Kejriwal, now his wife Sunita is in trouble, a petition has been filed in Delhi High Court in this matter

New Delhi. A petition has been filed in the Delhi High Court against Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal and others for alleged violation of the court's video conferencing rules. The petition filed by advocate Vaibhav Singh claimed that Sunita Kejriwal and others illegally recorded the proceedings during the Delhi Chief Minister's appearance in the trial court on March 28, 2024. The unauthorized recording was later shared on social media platforms.

According to the plea, the recorded audio and video of the court proceedings were posted on social media on Platform X (formerly Twitter) with the hashtag #MoneyTrailExposedByKejriwal. The plea further states that this act is not only a breach of Court protocol but also a deliberate attempt to manipulate and defame judicial proceedings. The plea highlights that unauthorised recordings were widely circulated on various social media platforms showing Arvind Kejriwal presenting his case before the Special Judge in a detailed narrative lasting for about 9-9:30 minutes. It alleges that the circulation of these recordings was part of a larger conspiracy by political parties to tarnish the image of the judiciary and mislead the general public.

Impact on the image of the judiciary
The petition expresses concern that the viral dissemination of these recordings may harm the perception of the judiciary among the public, indicating that the judiciary is working under certain influences. The petitioner has sought strict action against those involved in the unauthorised recording and dissemination of court proceedings.
