Pakistan Prime Minister likely to visit China on June 4

Islamabad, May 29 (Tezzbuzz). Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif may visit China in the first week of June next month. Pakistan’s leading news channel ARY News has said in its report that Shahbaz is likely to visit China from June 4 to 7 to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping and other high-ranking officials.
According to ARY News, the aim of the visit is to boost trade and strategic ties between the two friendly countries. Prime Minister Sharif is expected to discuss issues including the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the second phase of the ML-1 project with the Chinese leadership. Shahbaz will be accompanied by federal ministers and other high-ranking officials. Several agreements are expected to be signed during the visit.
