Indian alliance not based on principles, based on self-interest: Amit Shah

Ahead of the last phase of the Lok Sabha elections, Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to TV9's Bharatvarsh in an exclusive interview. In this, Shah heavily targeted the opposition parties while expressing his views on party policy and electoral issues. He also said that this alliance is not based on principle. Everyone is part of this alliance for their own self-interest. If it had been a coalition of principles all would have contested elections across the country together. Talking further about the alliance, Shah said, Look at the state of the alliance, Mamata Banerjee is contesting alone in Bengal. There he was neither with the Communists nor with the Congress. But all these three are part of Indie Alliance. Kejriwal ji is with the Congress in Delhi, Gujarat and Haryana, but is contesting the elections alone in Punjab. In Kerala, the Congress and the Communist parties form an alliance and contest the elections separately. I don't understand what alliance this is, somewhere they fight together, somewhere they fight against each other. Also Read- What's the Inside Story of BJP Crossing 400?
