Mumbai Coastal Road tunnel leak, Chief Minister Shinde has come into action

Maharashtra politics is heating up on Mumbai's coastal road. The coastal road that provides fast travel to Mumbaikars has been embroiled in controversy due to a leak. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde along with PMC Commissioner Bhushan Khachrani and police inspected Mumbai's coastal road. Following this, the Chief Minister said that the leakage in the joint area will be filled soon. Chief Minister Shinde said that the second lane of the coastal road will also be opened on June 10. Water leakage was noticed two months after the first lane of the coastal road was opened. The leak is near the Princess Street flyover. The paint on the walls has also come off due to constant water seepage. Aditya Thackeray has posted on social networking site that if MVA was in government, Mumbai Coastal Road would have been fully completed and opened to citizens by December 2023. But after a corrupt regime overthrew our government, they slowed down the work and increased the costs. To gain electoral advantage, only one lane was hastily opened. He also wrote that we were repeatedly given deadlines that the entire road would be opened by March, April, May. It's almost June now. Aditya raised the question and wrote that when will the government make an announcement about this. He further said that once we come to power, we will conduct an inquiry into the delay in the matter. However, the second lane of the coastal road is said to be open on June 10. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has convened a meeting in this regard. Chief Minister Shinde is personally visiting many parts of Mumbai to clean and inspect drains. People face trains in Mumbai due to waterlogging. To ease the travel of Mumbaikars, the Chief Minister has convened an emergency meeting of all departments and issued an order to all. The Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections are yet to take place in Maharashtra. In this situation, assembly elections are also approaching. NDA will have to work hard against MVA the way NDA has gained influence everywhere in Lok Sabha elections. Let us tell you that cities like Mumbai have low voting percentage.
