Prajwal Revanna, who returned from abroad following HD Deve Gowda's warning, will leave for India tomorrow.

Prajwal Revanna is set to return to India following a warning from former Prime Minister and grandfather HD Deve Gowda. He faces charges of sexual exploitation. A return flight from Munich to Bengaluru is reportedly booked on May 30. Official sources disclosed this information on Wednesday. According to SIT sources, the 33-year-old grandson of JDS chief HD Deve Gowda is expected to arrive in Bengaluru on May 31 morning. According to a report by news agency PTI, SIT sources said surveillance was being conducted at the Kempegowda airport here in case he could be arrested upon landing. Prajwal Revanna is contesting as the National Democratic Alliance candidate in Hassan Lok Sabha constituency. The Karnataka State Commission for Women has demanded an inquiry into the alleged videos of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah sexually harassing several women. When this information came out, Revanna fled the country. Two cases of sexual harassment have been registered against Prajwal, whose flight ticket from Germany was canceled twice. Two days ago, he released a video message in which he promised to appear before the SIT on May 31 and cooperate with the probe. Sources said that the MP had earlier canceled his flight ticket from Germany twice. Meanwhile, the SIT conducted a raid at Brajwal's house in Hassan Nagar on Tuesday, which continued till midnight. Sources said some objectionable items were seized. Prajwal's grandfather, HD Deve Gowda, had written to him last week, requesting him to face trial. In a letter titled 'My Warning' to Prajwal Revanna on 24 May, Deve Gowda wrote, 'There is only one thing I can do at this time. I may issue a stern warning to Brajwal, wherever he is, he should come back and surrender to the police. He should subject himself to legal action. This is not a plea, but a warning. If he does not heed this warning, he will incur the wrath of me and his entire family. The law will look into the allegations against him, but if the family doesn't listen, all ties with him will be severed. What did Prajwal Revanna say about the allegations of absconding abroad? In his video message, Brajwal said, 'First of all I want to apologize in Kannada to my parents, grandfather, Kumaranna (Kumaraswamy), the people of Karnataka and all the party workers for not telling anyone about my whereabouts. Not told abroad. When the election was held on April 26, there was no case against me and no special investigation committee was set up. The plan for my foreign trip was already prepared. I came to know about this (case) while watching YouTube and news channels after I left there three to four days after the election. Later SIT sent notice, I have asked for seven days to respond to the notice through my X account and my lawyer.
