Israel–Hamas War: On Sunday, sirens rang again in Israel after months. To protect against possible attacks, the Israeli army has sounded sirens in Tel Aviv and central Israeli areas. However, the Israeli Defense Force has not disclosed the reasons for sounding the sirens. According to the report, Hamas has said that it has launched a major missile attack on Israel. Hamas has claimed that it has fired rockets from Gaza. Hamas’ armed wing Al-Qassam Brigades said that these rockets have been launched against the Zionist genocide.
No reports of damage
According to the report, Hamas terrorists have continued to launch rocket attacks on the surrounding areas in the seven-month-long conflict. There is no report of any damage or casualties in the latest attack. The Israeli army says that at least eight rockets were fired from the Rafah area of southern Gaza and many of them were intercepted. The army said that rocket sirens were sounded in many areas including Herzliya and Petah Tikva. According to the BBC report, Israeli media has published a video of the damage caused by the rocket attack in Herzliya. In another post viral on social media, a large crater has been formed due to the rocket attack.
Egypt refused
Earlier, aid trucks arrived in Gaza from southern Israel after the Rafah crossing was closed. Israel has taken control of this area after the attack. At the same time, Egypt has also refused to open the Rafah crossing until the control of the Gaza side is handed back to the Palestinians.
Thousands of people died
According to Hamas health officials, the war between Israel and Hamas is now in its eighth month. About 36,000 Palestinians have been killed in this war. About 80 percent of the people in Gaza, which has a population of 2.3 million, have been displaced from their homes. The UN says that the war has created a famine-like situation in the area.
