He announced from the platform that he was severing ties with the MLA. Mamata Banerjee said directly from the platform that Usharani has no place in the party unless she apologises. He announced in the meeting that the party will not have any connection with the MLA. Mamata Banerjee said that those who think they will be Trinamool Congress MLAs will not come to the meeting. In this Lok Sabha constituency, the DMK is facing tough competition this time. Sandeshkali area is in Pasirhat Lok Sabha constituency.
