Colombian Foreign Minister Luis Murillo announced that President Gustavo Petro had ordered the opening of an embassy in Ramallah. Murillo said Colombia would establish a presence in the West Bank city of Ramallah.
President Gustavo Petro has often taken a dig at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and is considered one of Netanyahu’s most important critics. With this decision, Israel will have to face another challenge on the diplomatic front. This is a relief news for Palestine.
