Here’s a look at the updated WPL 2024 points table
MI’s seven-wicket win over GG was fifth of the season and with that they have now collected 10 points from seven games. They have now swapped places with Delhi Capitals to go top of the WPL 2024 points tally. DC are now second with eight points from six games and next face Royal Challengers Bangalore on Sunday.

Orange Cap Race
DC captain Meg Lanning continues to lead the race for the Orange Cap which is given to the highest run-getter of the season. She has scored 261 runs from six innings and is followed by RCB captain Smriti Mandhana who has 243 runs from six innings as well. Harmanpreet has stormed into the top-three and has 235 runs from five innings. Gujarat Giants captain Beth Mooney scored a second successive half-century and now has 211 runs from six matches to occupy the fourth spot. UP Warriorz allrounder Deepti Sharma is fifth with 207 runs from seven games.
Purple Cap Race
The Purple Cap also stays with DC. Jess Jonassen and Radha Yadav of DC have each taken 10 wickets so far. However, Jonassen is at the top of the table since she has a better economy of 5.93 as compared to Radha’s 6.44.
UPW spinner Sophie Ecclestone is third with eight wickets ahead of Marizan Kapp (eight wickets) and Deepti (eight wickets) who are fourth and fifth respectively.
