A new investigation report of the National Accountability Bureau has come out, which has revealed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, who has been convicted in the Toshakhana corruption case. Reports have revealed that during his tenure as Prime Minister, Imran Khan had “illegally” acquired and sold seven watches belonging to Toshakhana.
The alleged new case of corruption in the Toshakhana against the former Prime Minister involves allegations of keeping and selling 10 expensive gifts without reporting them to the relevant authorities and without depositing them in the Toshakhana.

Bushra Bibi also accused
The NAB investigation report revealed that Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, obtained a watch and jewelery including a ring and a necklace and kept it with herself instead of depositing it in the Toshakhana. According to the latest NAB report, the state gifts were bought/kept at “significantly lower rates” and then sold.

The NAB investigation revealed that during the investigation, it was revealed that the luxury gift items were valued dishonestly and negligently by a private valuer. Out of the seven watches now revealed in the investigation, one was a set of Graff watches, according to the report the watch was sold to Mohammad Shafiq for Rs 5 crore.
When will the case be heard?
After the report came out, a case was registered against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. The PTI founder and his wife were also given separate call-up notices, which they have challenged in the Islamabad High Court (IHC). The court is going to hear Bushra Bibi’s appeal on June 4 and Imran Khan’s appeal on June 24.
