English Premier League: Ipswich qualifies for the Premier League for the first time in 22 years
Ipswich Town FC beat Huddersfield 2–0 to qualify for the English Premier League after a 22-year-long absence. For Ipswich, Wes Burns scored in the 27th minute and Omari Hutkins scored in the 48th minute. Not a single goal was scored in the second half of the match. Ipswich have been playing in the Third Division for the past few seasons and have qualified for the top-tier league for only the fourth time. On the other hand, Leeds United suffered a 2-1 defeat against Southampton. West Brompton booked their place in the play-offs with a 3–0 win over Preston. His next match will be against Southampton. Despite beating Norwich Union Club 1–0, Birmingham are relegated to B-Division. Blackburn FC won 2–0 against the Leicestershire club. Blackburn are also relegated following Plymouth’s 1–0 win over Hull FC.
Arsenal make trophy race interesting by beating Bournemouth 3-0
Manchester. Arsenal club put their nearest rivals Manchester City under pressure and made the race for the English Premier League title even more interesting by defeating Bournemouth 3-0. Arsenal are four points clear at the top of the league but City still have two matches to play. Bukayo Saka scored in the final minutes of the first half to give Arsenal the lead. Leonardo Trossard and Declan Rice combined to give Arsenal a vital three points. Leonardo scored in the 70th minute and Rice scored in the seventh minute after 90 minutes of extra time.
