Mandsaur: Police revealed the shooting incident, the person who opened fire on friend arrested
. On Friday, the police made revelations about the firing case that took place on April 28 near Pashupatinath Road in the city. The person firing turned out to be none other than the friend of the injured. Both were roaming together on the day of the incident. He had opened fire regarding money transaction. Police have arrested the accused.
CSP Satnam Singh told in the press conference that the incident took place on the Court-Pashupatinath Road of the city Kotwali police station area on April 28 at around 10 pm. Bike riding miscreants asked Irfan Ali (40), resident of Mardadin Mohalla of Bhoiwada area, the address of Pashupatinath temple and then shot him. The bullet hit him in the back. The injured told the police that the unknown person asked for the address of the temple and shot him from behind. The police registered a case on the complaint of the injured’s younger brother and started investigation. Police investigation revealed that on the day of the incident, Irfan was roaming with his friend Naeem, father of Salim Khan, resident of Kila Road, Mandsaur. Shortly before the incident, both of them had returned from Pratapgarh Road after eating ice cream. The victim Irfan was riding the bike and the accused Naeem was sitting behind.
He told that both of them stopped the car on the road leading to the court from Pashupatinath and started talking. Meanwhile, accused Naeem fired at Irfan’s back and ran away. While leaving, the accused threatened the victim that if he informed the police about the incident, he would kill him. For this reason, the victim fabricated a story and told everyone that two people riding a bike asked him the address of the temple and opened fire. Accused Naeem told that he had borrowed Rs 9,000 from Irfan, which he was unable to repay. He wanted to take a bike or mobile in exchange for money. Even on the day of the incident, he had asked to give a bike or mobile in exchange of money, after which when there was a dispute, he opened fire.
