India is the birthplace not only of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism, but also of Islam, Judaism, Christianity and Zoroastrianism.’
India supported Palestine
India also supported the two-state solution for Israel and Palestine at the United Nations. Ruchira Kamboj at the UN said, ‘We support an agreement between Israel and Palestine, where the Palestinian people can live in an independent country within secure borders.’
