In the monthly crime seminar, SP gave instructions to improve Chardham Yatra arrangements

Chamoli Superintendent of Police Sarvesh Panwar, in a monthly crime seminar with all the police stations, outposts as well as other units related to the police, in the auditorium of the police office, Gopeshwar, on Friday, gave instructions to make all the arrangements for the upcoming Chardham Yatra.

While addressing the employees present during the seminar, the Superintendent of Police gave necessary guidelines to all the police station in-charges in view of law and peace. He took information from officers and employees and received suggestions regarding the problems faced during the visit to Badrinath Dham last year. Also, like last year, instructions were given to provide smooth and uninterrupted journey to the arrival of large number of devotees and tourists this year.

The Superintendent of Police directed the Kotwali and police station in-charges to coordinate with the concerned departments to improve the travel arrangements in their respective areas, to select new parking places, to remove illegal encroachments to get rid of the jam situation during travel. . He said that during the yatra, the police personnel, home guards and PRD personnel on duty will be given police station wise training on disaster equipment, first aid, rescue and relief operations by the SDRF team appointed in the district, so that the efficiency of the police force can be improved. Can be increased.

He instructed all the policemen to organize public awareness programs to spread the information about the new laws to the general public and make as many people aware as possible through posters, pamphlets, banners etc. He directed to organize a meeting and hold talks with the officials of hotel, taxi etc. unions and to remove unnecessary debris and obstructions lying on the Chardham Yatra route by talking to the concerned departments.

He asked to repair and improve the police posts, check posts and barriers on the Chardham Yatra route which are dilapidated and in poor condition. Instructions were given to take immediate action on the complaints received related to cyber crime and online fraud etc. and to make the general public aware about the prevention of cyber crimes.
