The bus fell into the valley after the driver lost control, 20 people died, chaos in Pakistan
Pakistan bus accident news: Today a bus slipped from a hilly area and fell into a valley in northwest Pakistan. In which at least 20 people died. A police official said the incident occurred on the Karakoram Highway in Diamer district of the Gilgit-Baltistan region.
How did the accident happen?
This bus was going from Rawalpindi to Hunza. During which the bus driver lost control and the bus fell into the valley. However, it is not yet clear whether there were any passengers in the bus or not. At least 15 people injured in the incident have been taken to a hospital in Chilas for treatment.
Chief Minister Gulbar Khan expressed condolences
Officials said rescue operations have been launched and bodies are being brought to the nearest hospital. A hospital source said that three women were also among the dead. The death toll may increase as the condition of many of the injured is critical. Gilgit Baltistan CM Haji Gulbar Khan has expressed grief over the incident.
