Hamas terrorist proposes marriage to Israeli woman, released from jail after 50 days
New Delhi: Eighteen-year-old Noga Twenty was held hostage for fifty days in an attack by Hamas terrorists. While narrating his painful experience, he told horrifying things. On the 14th day of her imprisonment, one of the kidnappers gave her a ring and proposed marriage. He asked Noga to live with him in Gaza and raise his children. Despite the precarious circumstances, Noga avoided danger to his life by pretending to laugh at the seriousness of the situation.
Even before Noga was taken hostage, torture on his family had started. After Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, Noga’s father, 56-year-old Ilan, left their neighborhood, Kibbutz Biri, at 7:15 a.m. to join emergency troops. However, they could not return. He was killed during the attack and his body was taken to Gaza.
Meanwhile, Noga’s sisters Metal and Maya also suffered losses in their own ways. They had to take shelter in different places to escape from the terrorists. Contact via WhatsApp proved to be his lifeline before he was rescued by Israeli soldiers.
When Hamas militants fired at their door, Noga’s mother Shiri told Noga to hide under the bed. The terrorists entered the house and took Shiri with them. When the house caught fire, Noga had to leave the house and he fell into the hands of terrorists.
Noga further said that around 40 terrorists surrounded him with Kalashnikovs. His hands were tied behind his back. During their imprisonment they were kept in different houses. While going from one place to another, he was asked to hold the hands of the terrorists so that people would think that he was married. Besides, she was also forced to wear hijab.
