In such a situation, these people will not have to re-register their vehicle when they move from one state to another. To avoid this hassle, BH series has been started.
These people get BH number plate
Only a few people can get BH number plate. To get BH series number plate you have to follow the eligibility criteria. To get this number plate, you must be a state and central government employee. That means it is very important for you to have a government job. If you are a defense sector, bank employee or administrative service employee then you can take BH number series plate.
People with private jobs can also take BH number.
Not only those in government jobs but also those in private jobs can get BH number plate. For this you will have to fulfill this condition. In this, the company where you work should have branches in more than four states or union territories and you should be an employee of that firm. Apart from this, you have to go from one state to another again and again for work.
Apply BH Number Plate
- To apply for BH number plate, first login to the vehicle portal of MoRTH. After this fill Form 20 on the vehicle portal. If you are a private sector employee and have offices in more than four states or union territories, you must fill Form 60.
- Along with this you will have to submit a copy of your work certificate and employee ID. After this the state authority will verify your eligibility.
- While filling the application, select the option of BH in Time Series Type. Submit a copy of the Work Certificate (Form 60) or official ID.
- After doing this the Regional Transport Office (RTO) will approve you for BH Series. After this, pay the fees online, after completion of this process, the vehicle portal will generate BH series registration number in a random number issued in all the states of India.
