I am suffocating…: A black man dies after being kneeled by police in America
America: Ohio police in America have released video footage of a black man. The police threw him to the ground to arrest him. In the video, the person is seen repeatedly telling the police that he is suffocating. Then he passes away.
In the video, officers can be seen scrambling to arrest Tyson. An officer then throws Tyson to the ground and kneels on his neck from behind. Meanwhile, Tyson is repeatedly saying, “I am losing my confidence.” A few minutes later, Tyson’s body stops moving and he dies.
However, regarding the incident that took place on April 18, police claimed that Tyson fled after crashing his car near the eastern border of Canton city. The police department identified the officers involved as Beau Schonage and Camden Burch. The Ohio Division of Criminal Investigation is investigating.
Police said officers responded to a report of a single vehicle crash in the 1700 block of Sherrick Road Southwest around 8:15 p.m. Canton Mayor William Scherrer II released a statement saying, “Today we released video footage of the arrest incident related to Tyson’s death. I met Tyson’s family to express my condolences. My goal is to be transparent with this community.
