Market News: Great rise in the Indian stock market, Sensex closed 114 points higher – ..

In the Indian stock market today i.e. on Wednesday 24th April the market closed in the green zone. Market opened in green zone in the morning , The stock market has seen a rise for the fourth consecutive trading day. Sensex closed at 73,852, up 114 points. A jump of 34 points was also seen in Nifty. It closed at 22,402.

Metal stocks had the biggest rise in today’s trading. Nifty Metal gained 2.69%. Nifty Bank index also gained 0.46%. Healthcare, pharma and realty indices also saw gains. A decline was seen in IT and auto. Shares of Tata Consumer closed 5.48% down.

Earlier yesterday i.e. on Tuesday 23rd April, there was a rise in the stock market. Sensex closed 89 points higher at 73,738. Along with this, Nifty has also increased by 31 points. It closed at 22,368.

In today’s trading, apart from consumer durables, shares of banking, pharma, FMCG, metal, energy, healthcare sectors closed with gains. While IT, Auto, Oil & Gas and Media shares closed with losses. While the Nifty midcap index performed well, the smallcap index also gained momentum due to buying in smallcap stocks.
