India is openly helping Armenia, we will not sit idly by, threatens Azerbaijan President

India has now started openly helping Azerbaijan’s enemy Armenia. Due to this, the upset Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev has once again taken a stand against India, France and Greece.

Ilham Aliyev, who was present at a university event, said, ‘We cannot remain silent when France, Greece and India are arming Armenia against us. These countries are engaged in doing this openly and without any noise. It is clear that these countries are trying to prove something to us, but we will not sit idly by.

Relations between Armenia and India have deepened significantly in the last few years. So much so that now Armenia is also buying weapons from India to fight Azerbaijan. India has so far supplied Pinaka multi-barrel rocket launchers, anti-tank weapons and ammunition to Armenia. Last year, France, along with India, had also announced to help Armenia. Even at that time, the President of Azerbaijan was angry with this and he said, ‘Military aid to Armenia will again lead to violence between the two countries.’

However, this did not make any difference to India, France or Greece. Because of this, President Aliyev has become more vocal and is using threatening language for India in public programs.
