India Russia News: Russia made offer to Azerbaijan, India will benefit
Russia has made a big offer to Azerbaijan, close to Pakistan, through which it will work with India. Russia has invited Azerbaijan for the International North South Transport Corridor. INSTC is a major trade corridor between India and Russia, connecting Mumbai and St. Petersburg via Iran. In the future, there are plans to connect INSTC to the Arctic and North Seas of Chabahar Port. According to the information, Azerbaijan is close to Pakistan. He has supported Pakistan on Kashmir issue.
Azerbaijan, along with Pakistan and Türkiye, is creating a new front in the Mediterranean. Russian President Vladimir Putin meets with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Moscow on Monday. Putin said that Russia has offered all countries to participate in the development of INSTC. He said that we invite all interested countries to participate in this project.
Armenia and Azerbaijan are also desperate
INSTC will give a big boost to India-Russia trade from 2022. Armenia is also interested in developing a branch of INSTC. The Kazakhstan–Turkmenistan route is the second branch of the INSTC, while the other branch is the Iran–Caspian Sea route. “It actually connects the Northern Sea Route to the Persian Gulf,” Putin said. This road is being built for the economic and social development of Eurasian and Global South countries. This allows easy access to each other’s markets. The Russian President said that we are ready to provide access to the rapidly growing markets of the Asia-Pacific region, which is of great importance for strengthening our country’s connectivity and political and economic plans. Therefore, interested countries are being invited, so that trade can be promoted in this corridor.
