Sensex and Nifty rose amid ups and downs in the domestic stock market.
New Delhi. Today, after initial fluctuations, a strengthening trend seems to be continuing in the domestic stock market. Today’s trading also started with gains. However, due to profit booking in the first half hour of trading, the stock market indices also declined. But within a short time, buyers increased the pace of these indices by creating buying pressure. After one hour of early trading, Sensex was trading 0.39 percent higher and Nifty 0.35 percent higher. After the initial one hour of trading, among the big stocks of the stock market, shares of Bharti Airtel, HCL Technology, Shriram Finance, Titan Company and State Bank of India were trading with a strength of 1.85 percent to 1.14 percent. On the other hand, shares of Hindalco Industries, Power Grid Corporation, HDFC Life, Tata Consumer Products and Bajaj Auto were seen trading with a weakness of 1.20 percent to 0.25 percent.
In the current trading, there was active trading in 2,113 shares in the stock market. Of these, 1,470 shares were trading in the green after earning profits, while 643 shares were trading in the red after incurring losses. Similarly, out of 30 shares included in Sensex, 24 shares remained in the green with the support of buying. On the other hand, 6 shares were trading in the red due to selling pressure. Whereas out of the shares included in Nifty, 35 shares were seen trading in green mark and 15 shares were seen trading in red mark. BSE Sensex jumped 400.32 points today and opened at 74,048.94 points. Profit booking started in the market shortly after the start of trading, due to which the index fell to the level of 73,763.91 points. However, after the first half hour of trading, buyers took charge, due to which the index gained momentum. After the first hour of trading amidst continuous buying and selling in the market, the Sensex was trading at the level of 73,933.42 points with a gain of 284.80 points.
Like Sensex, NSE’s Nifty started trading today at 22,447.05 points with a gain of 110.65 points. Due to selling pressure in early trade, this index fell to 22,368.45 points. But after this, due to buying started in the market, this index started rising rapidly. After the first one hour of trading between continuous buying and selling in the market, at 10:15 am Nifty was trading at the level of 22,415.25 points with a gain of 78.85 points. Before this, on the last trading day on Monday, the Sensex had closed at the level of 73,648.62 points with a gain of 560.29 points or 0.77 percent. At the same time, Nifty jumped 189.40 points or 0.86 percent and ended Monday’s trading at the level of 22,336.40 points.
