Israel urges EU ministers to impose more sanctions on Iran ahead of Foreign Affairs Council meeting
tel aviv : Israel’s Foreign Minister Israel Katz instructed the Foreign Ministry, the Foreign Ministry’s representation in the EU, and the management of Israeli embassies in Europe to increase operations against Iran among EU countries as part of preparations. Foreign Affairs Council of European Foreign Ministers meeting to discuss the issue of sanctions on Iran.
The main goal is to impose sanctions on Iran’s missile project, including the supply of missiles to all proxy terrorist entities associated with it in the Middle East.
This campaign follows dozens of conversations that Minister Katz had with his counterparts in Europe to persuade them to step up and support sanctions on Iran with a clear message:
“Iranian aggression will not end only in Israel and the Middle East, but will also reach you, and we now have to take all measures to curb Iran through tough sanctions in the US, EU and other countries,” he said. “And isolating Iran and its associated terrorist organizations.”
