Need for knowledge, understanding and consciousness in practice: Sarsanghchalak

Sarsanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Dr. Mohan Bhagwat said that it is important to have knowledge of Hindu religion, consciousness of the purpose of life and understanding of who we are and who is ours.

Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat released the book “Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh: A systematic manifesto of the life objective of the Hindu nation” on Thursday in a program organized in the Maharishi Vyas auditorium of Dr. Hedgewar Smriti Mandir in Reshambagh, Nagpur. On this occasion, Mahanagar Sanghchalak Rajesh Loya, writer Ramesh Patange and Dr. Sudhakar Jadhawar shared the stage with the Sarsanghchalak. Commenting on this book, Sarsanghchalak said that India was continuously attacked by foreign powers like Shakas, Huns, Yavanas, Mughals and British. We have always made the foreigners victorious because of our differences and betrayal. Nearly 2 thousand years of slavery and struggle have caused us self-forgetfulness. Sarsanghchalak said that we have forgotten who we are and who is ours. We have to get out of this. He told that we should avoid repeating the mistakes of the past.

As Dr. Bhagwat, we have a lot of knowledge of Hindu religion but no one acts according to it. As a result we have to bring Hinduism into our conduct. Bhagwat said that we should work according to our religion and culture while keeping our identity in mind.

Bhagwat said that this will build the ability to survive in adverse circumstances. He said that there is a huge difference between the situation at the time of formation of the Sangh and the present situation. In the initial days, everyone from ordinary volunteers to Sarsanghchalaks had to face opposition and deprivation, but today the situation has changed. The acceptance of the Sangh has increased in the society and resources are also available but everyone should keep in mind the objective of establishing the Sangh.

As Sarsanghchalak, the Sangh wants that our society should be victorious not with the help of demonic power or money but on the basis of religion. Describing the Sangh, it has been said that “Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is a systematic manifesto of the life objective of the Hindu nation”. Sarsanghchalak called that keeping this definition in mind, our conduct and life should be prudent.
